An Oregon man stashed hidden cameras in his bathroom to record footage of young women undressing for his shower and sauna, which he encouraged them to use while he vacationed, authorities have alleged. In the first days of housesitting at Kurt Higgins' Happy Valley home last July, Courtney Crain, a friend of the year-old's daughter, discovered one of the alleged cameras between a stack of towels. She reported the lewd findings to her family. Higgins is now charged with three counts of attempted invasion of privacy, a misdeamnor in Oregon, following a Tuesday court appearance. Proposed state legislation seeks to make such crimes a felony if the victim is a minor, such as the case of Madison Reed , whose parents learned their neigbor had been spying on their daughter for at least four years with hidden cameras. Crain, along with other young women, saw Higgins as a father figure, hanging out at his home after soccer practice and getting ready for dances at La Salle Catholic College Prep, according to the Oregonian. He was also a board member of the school's Boster Club, a position he no longer holds since news of his alleged voyeurism surfaced.
